Let’s Pray together!

Heavenly Father, we give you thanks for knowing in the beginning mothers would play a crucial part in our lives. Thank you, for helping to mold good mothers. Thank you for inspiring us to recognize our mothers. Even as the world is crazy, Lord we need to this time to pause and think about who our mothers are and who we would like them to be. So, we now pause to thank you for all mothers. Thank you for all who want to nurture, admonition and love children. Encourage us to be better. May the words of this prayer be turned into positive actions. Hear our prayers to encourage, inspire, empower others to seek Jesus even as we honor mothers. It is in the name of Jesus that we make this prayer. Amen

It was my second daughter’s birthday! So, the first order of business that Sunday morning, was to send her birthday greetings in the family chat.

As previously planned, my husband, son, and I made our way to Hope City Presbyterian Church, where the pastor’s last name was Wesley. We had our eye on that church all week because it was located right across the street from the Airbnb where we were staying; very convenient, I might add.
