Let’s Pray together!

Heavenly Father, Jesus the Savior, the indwelling Holy Spirit, we come humbly before you, asking that you consider us your servants. We ask that you lead and guide us. Help us remember to be strong and Courageous, because as it is written in Joshua 1:9, you are with us wherever we go. Thank you, Lord, for the promise long ago. Thank you for allowing us today to bask in the warmth of that promise. These are trying times. We still fight against sexual violence. We want to cling to you so that these horrors will stay away from us. Help us continue to be on the battlefield for relief from the horrible sin. We will be hopeful. We will be steadfast. We will believe that we can be better. Show us love. Insist Lord, that we love. Be our guide and our stay. And we will do all in our power to give you the honor, the praise, and the glory. It is in your mighty name that we pray. Amen

Hear me and hear me good! I’m speaking on behalf of the victims right now. When folk sin in this way, do they see Jesus in me? If you see Jesus in me, how can you do these things? If anyone sees Jesus in this world, if folk love God first and others second, how can you not stand up when this happens? If it is true that a young man went into that room back in 2024 and left thinking everything was okay and didn’t bother to take me out of there, did he see Jesus? Did you feel the Holy Spirit when you knocked your spouse down? Did you say you believe that Christ died on a cross so that this sin would not be when you broke that little boy’s arm?

We’ve come a long way; haven’t we? We’ve overcome so much throughout history. There is indeed much to shout about. From slavery to freedom, let’s give a cheer. Endings. Endings.
